A relatively fast and flat 10k route around the countryside on the edge of the historic town of Sandwich.
The Sandwich 10k starts at the Sandwich Sports Centre on the edge of the medieval town of Sandwich and uses some of the town roads and heads into the countryside surrounding the town and into the village of Worth. The route is flat and mostly fast and so good times are possible. The route is suitable for all types of runner from beginner to elite.
The race raises money for the Sandwich Sports and Leisure Trust who raise money to invest in the sports facility in Sandwich.The race will be fully licensed by runbritain and officially measured!!

Toilets and full changing facilities. Free car park. First aid room. Full refreshments available on site.

ADVANCED ENTRIES OPEN UNTIL 10AM 23RD JUNE. ON THE DAY ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE 9AM - 10AM ON THE 25TH JUNE SUBJECT TO SPACE.
Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10km race is 15 years on the day.
