The events will include 75m (u11), 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m (u11), 800m, 1500m and 5000m/5k. The event is fully permitted by UKA with results being sent to the Power of 10 and UKA. Electronic timing with photo finish equipment.
This is your chance to take part in some great racing, open to all abilities.
**Normally a road runner - think track is for elite only? Wrong, it is for all and we will be having 2 heats in the 5000m/5k ensuring everyone has an enjoyable race**
Each event is fully graded by ability, making sure you get the best possible race - great for achieving that new PB! Great for beginners too!!

Please note: 75m and 600m for u11 ONLY. Maximum number of events allowed for u13, u15 and u17 is 3 in total. u13 and u15 may only compete in one event in total if entering for the 800m or 1500m.
Entries: £6 for the first event, £4 for each additional event.
The athletics track is located next to the Canterbury Academy in Knight Avenue, Canterbury.
From A2 (West)
Approach Canterbury from the A2, taking the first turning to Canterbury (A2050), throught the first set of traffic lights. At the first roundabout next to the Victoria Hotel, take the 3rd exit onto Knight Avenue. The entrance to the Canterbury Academy is approximately 300m along Knight Avenue on the left hand side.
From A2 (East)
Approach on the A2, taking the 2nd exit to Canterbury, marked for Ashford and Canterbury. At the traffic lights take the right turn towards Wincheap. Head alond the Wincheap Road until you reach the roundabout just under the railway bridge. Take the 1st exit, past Aldi supermarket, A2090 Rheims Way. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto A2050, also Rheims Way. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Knight Avenue. The entrance to the Canterbury Academy is approximately 300m along Knight Avenue on the left hand side.
The number 22 bus runs regularly from Canterbury Bus Station to Knight Avenue. Please check www.stagecoachbus.com for exact times. The bus journey is approximately 10 minutes.
Canterbury has 2 railway stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West, with trains running regularly to/from London, Isle of Thanet, Medway Towns and the Dover area. Both stations are served by Southeastern and are approximately a 15 minute walk from the athletics track. Please check www.southeasternrailway.co.uk for exact times.
